How Can swelling And Pain In The Abdomen Be Treated?
I am having ruq abdominal pain and have noticed some swelling also. I also have pain in the back at the same area I did have my gallbladder out approximately 3 1/2 years ago. But of importance I fell backwards off steps onto my back about 3 weeks ago. Rib x-rays showed only old healed fracture , lumbar showed lots of swelling . Worsened and had severe cough cxr ok given levaquin preventative as hx bronchitis asthma plus inhaler. Improved but now pain is intensifying. Can t bend over difficulty laying flat getting up can t lay on rt side

You should have an ultrasound of your abdomen and a new chest x-ray to rule out pneumothorax. Blood tests including arterial gas tensions and liver functions tests would also help guide diagnosis.
